Our people play a huge role in our Vision for the future, and we invest in their development. We sit down with every new person, to find out what makes them tick and what they want from their career. This helps us create individual personalised development and bespoke career plans. These plans come with real targets and so, every three months, we appraise our people against these plans, to assist with their progress.

As career paths develop, we use our Performance Enhancement Process (PEP) to help people with their professional development. We give practical support and additional training, provided by expert coaches and facilitators. In our employee survey, more than 80 percent of our people say they receive the right training to do their job well, and 86 percent think we’re committed to investing in training and development.
