IT Support Engineer
Location: Palo Alto, CA (On-Site)
Are you an exceptional, results-driven engineer looking for an exciting opportunity in a fast-paced startup environment? Join our client's team to support their offices in both Palo Alto and Massachusetts. They are seeking a talented and highly motivated IT Support Engineer to provide top-tier assistance to our growing organization. This is a part-time contracting opportunity, with onsite work required Monday to Friday from 1-5pm PST
Pay rate: $45-50/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Provide end-user support in a dynamic, high-growth company.
- Administer O365, Azure, Mimecast, Okta, Zoom, and Zoom room hardware with proficiency.
- Prepare laptops and configure workspaces for new users and system refreshes.
- Perform onboarding and offboarding procedures as needed.
- Install and configure software applications.
- Offer technical troubleshooting and support to employees.
- Install, configure, and test operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
- Execute warranty and support activities.
- Support both MAC and Windows operating systems and hardware.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency with O365, Azure, Mimecast, Okta, Zoom, and Polycom video conferencing hardware is a must.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in network administration or system administration.
- Strong knowledge of helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including expertise in security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols.
- Proven success in an IT support role.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science (or equivalent work experience).
