POSITION TITLE:

Recruitment Consultant

POSITION DUTIES:

• Evaluate recruitment and selection criteria to ensure compliance with professional and testing standards and recommend changes where necessary;
• Manage the recruiting, hiring, induction and training of new recruitment consultants;
• Mentor and support junior recruitment and sales personnel in their understanding of business development, client engagement, company's policies, procedures and CRM system, and the STEM industries (science, technology, engineering and mathematics);
• Strategize and plan for the company's STEM recruitment efforts, including internal recruitment of junior recruiters and sales people;
• Manage and develop relationships with clients within the STEM industries, and understand their staffing needs;
• Manage the full recruitment cycle for both candidates and clients, from candidate sourcing and interviewing, to negotiating and closing job offers, and dealing with post-interview matters;
• Perform searches for qualified job candidates, using a wide variety of resources such as computer databases, online recruiting resources, media advertisements, job fairs and employee referrals;
• Assist with onboarding of newly recruited consultants working on client sites to ensure they meet compliance standards and company culture;
• Act as the subject matter expert in the utilities and renewable energy staffing industries;
• Utilize and develop the business development strategy to retain clients and win new business in line with the company's aims and objectives;
• Maintain, develop and manage a portfolio of strategically important accounts, developing a contact base for the STEM recruitment markets;
• Communicate and discuss with management any internal challenges, such as performance-related issues and candidate short market, and support consultants through these challenges;
• Utilize advanced networking skills, both digitally and by attendance of industry events, seminars, client hosted events and socials to widen candidate and client pool.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Economics or a related field plus two years of full-time work experience as Recruitment consultant, recruitment manager or related occupations.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Experience to include: 1) Experience using a Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) system within the recruitment consultancy field, such as Bullhorn, Salesforce, TalentRover, LinkedIn Recruiter, Glantus, Fieldglass, Cube19, Workday; 2) Experience of sourcing and placing STEM professionals within international markets; 3) Experience in account management for large, international clients within STEM industries; 4) Experience and knowledge of the international utilities and renewable energy staffing industries; 5) New business development and maintaining relationships with key clients.
