Join the Equipment Reliability Specialist team within the Strategic Engineering department. As a Reliability Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of our consumables manufacturing systems. We operate in a regulated, high-paced environment, and your expertise will be critical in supporting our equipment engineers and day-to-day operations.
Reliability Analysis: Lead, facilitate, and execute in-depth Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA). This includes system modeling, failure data collection, statistical analysis of failures, and providing recommendations to enhance operational and maintenance processes.
Availability Optimization: Conduct reliability availability maintainability (RAM) studies to determine availability targets based on demand scenarios. Recommend the most suitable maintenance strategies to achieve these targets.
Problem Solving: Support the troubleshooting of recurring technical issues and lead Root Cause Analysis work sessions, drawing upon your expertise.
Vendor Engagement: Collaborate technically with vendors, contractors, and service providers to define intervention scopes and establish service contracts that meet our needs.
Training Development: Create and deliver engineering reliability-centered training and training materials for our team.
Procedure Management: Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and work instructions related to equipment reliability, such as PM procedures, task lists, work management processes, spare parts management, document control, planning and scheduling, and maintenance strategies.
Continuous Improvement: Promote ongoing improvement activities and cost-saving strategies to enhance equipment availability, reliability, and operational stability.
Project Leadership: Lead continuous improvement initiatives by defining and planning projects, including establishing timelines, allocating resources, identifying risks, and overseeing project execution from start to completion.
Process Enhancement: Spearhead improvements to current work processes and identify undocumented processes for documentation.
Relationship Building: Establish, develop, and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders, cross-functional team members, and internal customers.
Hands-On Support: Be available and willing to spend time on the manufacturing floor during maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
