Our client is a leading real estate development company based in Dubai, dedicated to shaping the city's future skyline. Known for their commitment to excellence and innovation, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Corporate Legal Counsel to join our growing legal team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Equity Investment - JV Centric:

    • Lead legal aspects of equity investment transactions with a focus on joint ventures.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to structure and negotiate equity deals that align with our strategic objectives.
  2. Restructuring/Governance:

    • Provide legal counsel on corporate restructuring initiatives and governance matters.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in corporate governance.
  3. Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A):

    • Manage legal aspects of M&A transactions, from due diligence to deal closing.
    • Draft and negotiate agreements, ensuring the protection of our interests in all transactions.


  • 8-15 years of post-qualification legal experience, with flexibility in experience level.
  • Qualified lawyer with experience in a Top 20 UK firm or equivalent (Australia/New Zealand/Canada/United States/UK/Ireland).
  • Native English speaker with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Additional Preferences:

  • Development experience in the real estate sector is preferred but not required.
  • UAE legal experience is preferred but not required.

Key Requirements:

  1. Legal Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in equity investment, restructuring, and M&A transactions, with a focus on joint ventures.

  2. Global Perspective: Experience working with a Top 20 UK firm or equivalent, bringing an international perspective to the legal team.

  3. Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner.

  4. Flexibility: Ability to adapt to the evolving legal landscape and business requirements.

  5. Collaborative Approach: Work collaboratively with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives.
