Our client is a leading real estate development company based in Dubai, dedicated to shaping the city's future skyline. Known for their commitment to excellence and innovation, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Corporate Legal Counsel to join our growing legal team.
Key Responsibilities:
Equity Investment - JV Centric:
- Lead legal aspects of equity investment transactions with a focus on joint ventures.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to structure and negotiate equity deals that align with our strategic objectives.
Restructuring/Governance:
- Provide legal counsel on corporate restructuring initiatives and governance matters.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in corporate governance.
Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A):
- Manage legal aspects of M&A transactions, from due diligence to deal closing.
- Draft and negotiate agreements, ensuring the protection of our interests in all transactions.
Qualifications:
- 8-15 years of post-qualification legal experience, with flexibility in experience level.
- Qualified lawyer with experience in a Top 20 UK firm or equivalent (Australia/New Zealand/Canada/United States/UK/Ireland).
- Native English speaker with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Preferences:
- Development experience in the real estate sector is preferred but not required.
- UAE legal experience is preferred but not required.
