The challenge:

Our client, one of the world’s largest engineering consultancies, urgently needed an additional resource for one of their clients as they didn’t have anyone immediately available. Their internal talent acquisition team knew that they wouldn’t be able to find someone who was immediately available, so they engaged Hydrogen to find an experienced German-speaking C&Q engineer who was available immediately and open to relocating.

Our solution:

We are in constant contact with the majority of engineers across the DACH region and have a hotlist of top candidates that are available immediately or about to finish their contracts, which gives us a constant flow of talent. After discussing the criteria with the client over the phone, we sourced an individual, experienced in large biopharma projects, that the client hadn’t been able to find who met all the other requirements too.

The outcome:

• The consultancy was able to meet their client’s demands by providing them with a resource that was not available to them

• Our client was thrilled that we were able to provide them with a hard to find resource on the same day and get contracts signed within 72 hours

The challenge:

A US based client, with no presence or candidate relationships in Europe, was tendering for a project in Germany. Their internal talent acquisition team were struggling to source candidates there and came to us to source a team of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) quality professionals at varying levels of seniority to submit for the tender process.

Our solution:

We already had a strong candidate pool within the space, so we submitted the first candidate within half an hour, who had a successful interview the very next day. Within a couple of weeks, we had submitted around 15 candidates, most of which were interviewed with a positive outcome. All candidates had experience within a GMP regulated environment because this was the main prerequisite for all candidates at varying levels.

The outcome:

• We delivered a high-quality team with candidates from junior level (1-4 years’ experience) up to very senior candidates (15-25 years’ experience)

• The excellent delivery resulted in the end client coming to our client with another project

• Our client rated our service very highly and has opened up discussions about further partnering with us in Europe

The challenge:

A global Pharma company approached us to help them build their global Technical Artificial Intelligence team. They had no internal recruitment expertise in this area and their current suppliers had either turned down the work or hadn’t delivered. They initially approached us to help with two leadership positions and subsequently retained us on a further four roles, based on the quality of our delivery.

Our solution:

We took full briefings to understand the roles, the proposition and the potential and focus of the team, before mapping the market across Europe and beyond. In a new market for both us and the Pharma company, we achieved an outstanding CV to interview ratio, and initially provided six people in leadership positions. We have continued to hire for the team ever since, as well as expanding into other AI-centric areas of their business.

The outcome:
