Location: Irvine, CA (onsite)
Salary range: $30-$35/hour
Contract: 6 months
A leading medical technology company are looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to join their team in Irvine, CA! The main role of this position will be buying/planning within the Critical Care Planning Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing PO's per supply plan (weekly/monthly buckets), get approval, submitting to the suppliers. Getting confirmation and confirming promised delivery date
- PO maintenance in the ERP system: OTD metrics, PDD maintenance, PO reconciliation with the suppliers
- Collaborate with departments (such as, receiving / Procurement / AP / etc.) in order to proactively resolve receiving issues
- Overseeing shipping / transfer activity (outside of fulfillment)
- Ad-hoc requests to support planning / buying role
Additional Skills:
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Global Supply Chain, and Quality systems (e.g., JDE) preferred
- Good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills
- Good knowledge and understanding of policies, procedures and guidelines relevant to local and/or global supply chain including FDA and ISO laws and regulations applicable to medical device industry
- Must be able to work in a team environment, including immediate supervisor, other team members in the section or group, and vendors/suppliers
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred
