Our Luxury Retail Client is currently looking for a experienced e-commerce contract delivery manager to work on their current customer focused e-commerce system.




Role Purpose:

We are looking for a passionate Delivery Manager to join our multi-skilled, end-to-end development Account team. You will be supporting the My-Account facing Products with the aim to strengthen customers confidence and usage, you will be working within a dynamic and fast paced environment, partnering with Product Manager, Analyst, Quality teams and other delivery teams to support the ongoing roadmap,

Responsibilities:

· People

o Support the appropriate agile methodology, learning & improving frequently

o Foster an environment where the team understand the value of regular reviews and target continuous improvement

o Foster an enjoyable working environment

· Facilitation & Communication

o Facilitate activities that progress improvements and remove blockers, bringing people together, supporting alignment, and holding others to account for progress

o Review, Facilitate and align Agile ways of working ceremonies, processes, and practice to ensure effective support to delivery.

o Ensuring that efficient and effective communications are in place:

§ Indirectly by bringing the right people together and removing layers

§ Directly through proactive updates on team activities

· Delivery

o Work closely with the team's Product Manager to support the delivery of the team's Roadmap

o Track and forecast the team's delivery, entering data into, and using data from JIRA

o Providing regular progress updates and escalating problems where necessary

o Leveraging experience and knowledge of Agile and Lean principles to provide insights and support improvements

o Create and align the delivery plan, based on a prioritization model, technical dependencies, and team capacity, to achieve that you will work collaboratively with the Lead Product Owner, Product Manager, Other Delivery Manager, and the team.

Skills and Experience:

· Experience working with agile teams, including experience with SCRUM and Kanban

· Experience using JIRA or equivalent tools

· Experience in coaching cross functional teams

· Experience building empowered and self-organising teams

· Support recruitment activities when required

· Experience applying measures to support process improvement

· Experience demonstrating the value of delivery

· Strong communication and facilitation skills

· A good understanding of the software delivery lifecycle

· An understanding of modern software development practices and techniques (including Continuous Delivery, Continuous Integration, TDD, and BDD)

· An understanding of Agile (including Scaled Agile) and Lean principles

· An understanding of build/deployment activities

· An understanding of application infrastructure
