We are seeking a Financial Analyst II whose primary responsibilities will revolve around supporting our International Commercial team, driving budget and forecasting processes, expansion support, and maintaining the planning system (Hyperion) for actuals reporting and forecasting/budgeting. The position will report directly to the Sr Manager Commercial Finance.
Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst II include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in the development and coordination of financial budgets (OPEX, headcount) for the International Commercial teams, in partnership with department heads/project leads
- Support expansion efforts through budgeting/forecasting and coordination with applicable Gilead affiliates
- Build and consolidate summary files for reporting actuals, forecast, and budget
- Work with Accounting on monthly close and provide monthly accruals/reclasses
- Assist in performing ad hoc analytics (NPV, headcount analyses, etc.) and roll-ups
- Assist in day-to-day management of departmental financial analysis needs
- Assist in accounting close process by analyzing variances and ensuring financial reporting is accurate
- Develop process improvements for financial reporting
