Procurement/Logistics Associate

Bay Area, CA




Responsibilities

  • Negotiate and order supplies including but not limited to the Lab, office, facility
  • Generate purchase orders and upload received & verified invoices into the system
  • Inventory management and tracking supplies
  • Vendor communication and management
  • Cross-functional communication especially with the Finance team
  • Provide support to the commercial team in servicing clients
  • Build positive working relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Report any discrepancies and resolve in a timely accurate manner

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or Associate degree in relevant field
  • 2 to 3 years of healthcare industry experience preferably in Biotech/Genomics
  • Experience with logistics and creating purchase orders is a must
  • Familiarity in accounting/finance
  • Computer-savvy, Intermediate to Advanced level MS office skills
  • Excellent written verbal communication & interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and decision making skills
  • Positive 'can do' attitude, willingness to take on any task
