The role: IT Programme Manager
Description: Our financial services client is looking for a Programme Manager to successfully lead and deliver concurrent IT&Change programmes within the business. The Programme Manager is accountable for the effective and efficient delivery of business outcomes across the IT and Change portfolio to support the banks strategic objectives being achieved. They are also accountable for the leadership of the PMO function, Business Analysts and Project Managers to alignment across the IT portfolio and provide support and motivation.
Experience needed:
- A proven background in delivering IT programmes within Financial Services
- Experience in managing multi complex projects simultaneously and balancing priorities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong stakeholder Manager, liaising at all levels of the business
- Problem-solving attributes and solutions driven
- Positive approach and passionate about efficient & effective delivery of customer outcomes
- A team player who actively supports and promotes collaboration
- Proven track record or leading, motivating and developing teams to achieve strategic outcomes
- Self-motivated, self-managing with an entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to adapt to changing situations
- Strong organisational and personal effectiveness skills
- The ability to coach team members to achieve more than they think feasible
