This top-tier projects group is looking to hire a 1-5 PQE projects lawyer to join their Energy & Infrastructure practice to focus on projects and transactions including Power, Oil & Gas, M&A, Energy transition as well as EPC and operations.

This US firm is well established in London and the team works across their international as well as their US office network and serves as a hub for the provisions of English law to their global network. They have a great reputation across a wide range of sectors and you will build/continue to develop relationships with clients involved in renewable energy, nuclear, oil & gas, mining, infrastructure and power projects.

This role is ideal for a lawyer looking to take on varied, international projects work of the highest quality. You will develop into a leading projects lawyer and earn a salary commensurate with such a position.

Required experience:

Excellent understanding of the nuts and bolts of English contract law.
Routinely drafts, negotiates and/or due diligences EPC contracts.
Familiar with FEED, technology licencing, EPC and/or general construction contracts equipment supply.
Experience of drafting & negotiating construction contracts in the E&I sector - ideally with experience of bank /ECA financed projects in both power (renewables or conventional) and process engineering (particularly petrochemicals and LNG) would be an advantage, but not a pre-requisite.
Familiarity with O&M and long-term service agreements.
Experience of / interested in advising on projects being developed in other jurisdictions, including the US, Africa and Asia
