Research Associate 2/3 - Platform Technology

An exciting biotech organization is seeking a highly motivated and adaptable Research Associate 2/3 to join their dynamic Platform Technology group. This organization is looking for individuals who possess strong critical thinking abilities, a passion for continuous learning, and the capacity to excel in a fast-paced research environment
As a Research Associate 2/3 in the Platform Technology group, you will play a crucial role in advancing innovative research initiatives. This position requires a background in biology, technical proficiency in in vivo discovery, and assay development. You will collaborate closely with a dedicated team to generate vital samples for collaborating groups and actively contribute to enhancing the platform's capabilities. Strong organizational skills, meticulous record-keeping, and a tenacious problem-solving approach are essential for success in this role. Additionally, you will be responsible for the humane care and maintenance of laboratory animals, including dosing, anesthesia, blood draws, euthanasia, necropsy, and catheter maintenance.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in the biological sciences or a related field and 2-3+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team and quickly acquire new skills.
Required Skills (some, but not limited to):
- Effective scientific communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis techniques.
- Experience with IP and subcutaneous dosing methods.
- Competence in catheter maintenance.
- Knowledge of anesthesia administration.
- Proficiency in blood draws from laboratory animals.
- Familiarity with euthanasia procedures.
- Competence in necropsy techniques.
- Assay development expereince.

The anticipated salary range for this role is $90-120,000. We encourage candidates of all levels to apply as there may be flexibility on final job title and responsibilities. The salary offer will be based on a variety of factors, including experience, qualifications, internal equity etc.
