Scientist II, Analytical Chemistry

Pay Rate: $40 - $43hrly
Responsibilities
· Design and perform experiments of varying complexity and across a broad array of techniques, foresee issues and works to overcome obstacles to completing tasks or assignments, conceive of new ways to analyze the data and present it.
· Makes detailed technical observations and documents them in laboratory notebooks and confluence pages, etc.
· Plan, conduct, summarize, report consistent conclusions, and generate recommendations for follow up experiments and may suggest alternate strategies.
· Take responsibility for training others, raising the consistency and quality of data collection of the team, establish criteria and / or work procedures to achieve a high level of quality and productivity.

Requirements
· Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
· Enzyme assay development experience
· Experience with analytic methods, development validation, HPLC (high performance liquid chromatography)
· Familiar with operation instruments
· Have the ability to interpret data
· Familiar with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
