The Senior Account Manager owns the relationship held with assigned customers. The Senior Account Manager manages customer issues and collaborates on customer projects. The Senior Account Manager partners with cross-functional teams to improve the entire customer experience. The Senior Account Manager must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication, presentation skills, and an aptitude to influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Duties
- Develop trusted relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Manages all customer contact to include customer meetings (phone and face-to-face).
- Liaises between customers and manufacturing, sales, engineering, QA and accounting to resolve production, delivery, QA and billing issues.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of client-focused solutions, according to customer needs and objectives.
- Act as the singular point-of-contact, interacting with customers through email, phone, online presentations, and in-person meetings.
- Resolve challenging client requests and escalate, if necessary.
- Convey positive attitude and act as value-added team player on assigned projects and in all internal/external meetings.
- Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis.
- Requires face-to-face interaction with clients and other employees.
Qualifications
Education:
- Associates Degree or equivalent experience.
Experience:
- 5+ years account management experience or relevant experience.
- Experience in medical manufacturing/high tech manufacturing environment.
Skills
- Must possess intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills.
- Energetic, self-motivated with ability to work independently and within a team environment, while demonstrating the ability to prioritize, organize, and pay attention to detail.
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities.
