JOB TITLE: Project Management Consultant

LOCATION: Juno Beach, FL (Power Generation Facility)

SCHEDULE: Standard Office Hours

DURATION: 12-Month Contract

PAY: USD $56.00 per hour


Job Responsibilities:

In this role, you will support and manage field-based construction projects in alignment with established budget, schedule, and safety goals. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting construction work performed by contractors and vendors at the project site.
  • Monitoring productivity, quality of work, safety performance, and schedule adherence.
  • Conducting work walk-downs and validating completed tasks against design requirements.
  • Reviewing contractor payment requests and ensuring constructability and field readiness.
  • Addressing field issues and coordinating resource allocation as necessary.
  • Collaborating with vendors, suppliers, regulatory agencies, and local officials.
  • Assisting with budget oversight, scope control, issue resolution, and schedule tracking.
  • Reinforcing safety standards, procedural compliance, and work expectations.
  • Supporting cross-functional efforts related to engineering, construction, analytics, and contract management.
  • Participating in project reporting and management committee meetings.

Essential Duties and Job Functions:

  • Conduct walk-downs of planned and completed work to assess progress and adherence to design.
  • Validate payment requests based on work completion and quality.
  • Assess constructability and ensure proper use of resources on site.
  • Monitor safety performance and implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Communicate with local regulators, community stakeholders, and internal project leads.
  • Support the tracking of work-in-progress, including scheduling and technical issue management.
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes, safety expectations, and industry best practices.
  • Assist in coordinating engineering, construction, and safety program activities.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Knowledge of construction management and project execution processes.
  • Ability to assess technical documentation and field execution.
  • Working understanding of budget and schedule tracking.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and issue resolution in dynamic field environments.
  • Familiarity with construction safety protocols and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency with common project management and engineering tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, scheduling software).
  • Strong interest in site-based project management and construction engineering
