About the Role
Hydrogen Group
on behalf of our Banking client, are seeking a skilled Business Analyst
to join their Business Design
function. This role is integral to shaping and documenting the business architecture for large-scale transformation programmes. You will analyse current processes, design future operating models, and create architecture artefacts using ArchiMate standards, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Business Architecture & Design
- Develop and maintain business architecture models using ArchiMate.
- Define and document current (As-Is) and future (To-Be) business processes, capabilities, and value streams.
- Support the creation of Target Operating Models (TOMs) and transition roadmaps.
Analysis & Documentation
- Conduct gap analyses between current and target states.
- Prepare detailed business design documents, capability maps, and process flows.
- Maintain traceability between business requirements and architecture deliverables.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with business SMEs, solution architects, and technology teams.
- Facilitate workshops to capture requirements and validate design artefacts.
- Present complex architecture concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience

- Experience within Retail and/or Corporate Banking (lending/payments)
Technical:
- Proficient in ArchiMate modelling tools (e.g., BiZZdesign, Sparx EA).
- Knowledge of TOGAF or similar enterprise architecture frameworks.
- Familiarity with BPMN for process modelling.
Business:
- Experience in business architecture, capability modelling, and operating model design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate business needs into structured architecture artefacts.
