- Join a diverse and experienced global IT team responsible for supporting Investment applications, alert monitoring and environment support for business
- Ensure client maintains high system availability and meets agreed SLA's with our business and 3rd party vendors
- Work with Investment, Trading and IT professional resolving issues resulting from Trading, Compliance or Regulatory queries, application checks, providing timely feedback via written or verbal communication
- Provide support during core market hours as part of team Rota covering early/late starts with potential for weekend and on call support
- Participate in the change management and enhancement cycle process as well as involvement in various project and infrastructure testing
- Conduct user training on key internal investment systems as required
- Build and maintain support documentation for all applications
- Carry out other duties as assigned

Must have skills
- Experience of working within a team supporting Investment systems within the Asset Management or equivalent sector
- Sound problem solving and analytical skills
- Takes ownership of issues, use their initiative, and embrace continual improvement of processes and technology
- Experience of Execution (EMS) and Order Management (OMS) applications, preferably Bloomberg & Charles River
- Knowledge of the FIX trading protocol and its use
- Batch/Scheduling experience (Autosys, Tidal)
- Ability to work as part of a global support team, recognizes the need to share knowledge and contributes to team discussions
- Knowledge and experience of the SQL language and database structures proficient in MS Excel
- Good time management / planning - manages personal workload effectively, sets realistic and achievable targets and delivers those targets
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, taking care of clients and colleagues at various levels providing clear, precise, and understandable feedback and documentation
Nice to have skills
- IMC or similar industry qualifications desirable
- Experience in one or more of the following, order management, portfolio modelling, market data or performance measurement
- Demonstrable knowledge of investment securities such as, Equity, Fixed Interest and or Derivatives etc.
- An understanding of software testing methodology
- Experience in querying Microsoft or Oracle databases, tracing data through tables, views, stored procedures etc.
- Knowledge of Python programming language
- Skills in dealing with business logic interfaces with either market data or front office applications
Compensation information
The base salary range for this position is $80,000-$95,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.
