Role: Business Analyst
Rate: £450 - £550 p/d via umbrella
Location: Fully remote with occasional travel into Edinburgh/Bristol office
Duration: 6 months with a view to extend
Responsibilities:
- Experience of Investments and Box Management (for Life and Pensions and Mutual Funds) desirable
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills - able to build positive and cohesive working relationships
- Work collaboratively with technical and business stakeholders to agree the solution design. Identify opportunities for effective solutions for business improvement initiatives for non-automated and automated business processes
- Carry out data discovery to identify the effect of proposed change to the associated business processes, internal and external interfacing and external 3rd party processes
- Elicit clear and concise business and non-functional requirements to clearly articulate the business need in line with the business objectives, ensuring that traceability is maintained throughout the project delivery lifecycle
- Develop test requirements and scripts to drive robust, effective and qualitative testing
- Support business readiness activity to ensure that they are fully ready to accept the change and are prepared for implementation
- Analyse and articulate the impact of change requests, identify risks and challenges to time, cost or quality
- Plan and deliver First Occurrence Validation testing post migration to highlight and resolve post migration or warranty issues
