Our Financial Services client is looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Customer Due Diligence Specialist to join their team. Role Overview:

As a Senior Customer Due Diligence Specialist, you will play a critical role in the company's compliance and customer service initiatives. Your responsibilities will include overseeing onboarding procedures, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and maintaining the highest standards of due diligence in customer interactions.

Key Qualifications:

  • Essential:
    • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
    • Knowledge of onboarding procedures, due diligence, and KYC.
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills in customer onboarding.
    • Proficiency in data analysis with acute attention to detail.
    • Experience with customer onboarding systems.
    • Understanding of regulatory obligations (CDD/KYC) and the financial crime environment in commercial lending.
    • Previous experience in a regulated Financial Services environment.
    • Motivational and proactive approach to drive personal and team success.
    • Ability to work independently and adapt to changes in customer behavior.
    • Setting cultural tone and advocating for organizational values.
    • High personal performance standards and ownership of work delivery.
    • Demonstrated resilience under pressure and acting as a role model within the organization.
  • Desirable:
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, Excel & Word.


  • The ideal candidate should have held specialist/senior CDD positions within a regulated risk environment.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in Customer Due Diligence within a Regulated Financial Services environment.
  • Demonstrable personal integrity and a good reputation, without conflicts of interest.
