Hydrogen are currently working with a well recognised organisation are looking to hire a Cloud Engineer to join their team in the West Midlands on a full time, permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud hosting technologies and possess excellent technical abilities in Microsoft Azure and AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

Deploy, configure, and manage cloud-based infrastructure in Azure and AWS.
Migrate existing on-premises servers and applications to cloud environments.
Create and manage virtual machines, storage solutions, network resources, and security groups.
Set up and maintain cloud infrastructure monitoring tools to ensure system health and performance.
Develop and implement security protocols to protect cloud-based systems and applications.
Monitor and manage disaster recovery and backup solutions to ensure business continuity.
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to IT server infrastructure and cloud systems.
Create and maintain documentation on cloud infrastructure and related processes.
Stay current with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure architecture, or related field.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud hosting technologies.
Understanding of security protocols and best practices for cloud infrastructure.
Proficiency in disaster recovery and backup solutions for cloud environments.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
AWS and Azure certifications preferred.
