We are looking for a Genetics Counsellor to join a leading Biotechnology company in the San Diego area. In this role, the Genetic Counselor will be primarily involved in supporting Global Medical Education, and will align with regional and segment-specific Global Medical Affairs Organization (GMAO) team members to drive tactical execution of educational plans. This is a fully remote opportunity, and is offered on an initial 6 month contract basis (With possibility of extension/conversion).
Responsibilities:
- In collaboration with Segment leads, direct planning, proposal review, selection and execution of educational programs
- Ensure overall compliance and quality of medical education programs
- Identify key metrics to assess effectiveness of educational programs and prepare regular reports to ensure key stakeholders are updated on educational grant status and activities
Requirements:
- Medical degree preferred (e.g. MD (or equivalent), RN, PA, CGC). PhD holders will be considered with sufficient clinical experience
- At least 3-5 years of clinical experience in a prioritized medical field (Oncology, Reproductive Health, Rare Disease, Infectious Disease, or Cardiology)
- Experience with Medical Affairs role within Industry preferred.
