An exciting, leading SME services platform is looking for a Qualified Accountant (ACA or equivalent) to join their finance team as the new Group Finance Manager. With the completion of 4 acquisitions in the last 18 months and over 500 employees spread across the UK, the company is well situated to maintain this impressive performance.

As the Group Finance Manager, you will key to driving the growth of the company and promoting its strong financial position. You will be responsible for presenting information to senior stakeholders within the business, getting involved in new projects and reconciliations (particularly acquisitions) and working across multiple departments. Responsibilities:

· Managing the Accounts Receivable team, driving performance and development

· Owning cashflow including modelling, day to day cash management and covenant compliance

· Calculation of revenue provisions & adjustments, accrued revenue reconciliations and monthly reporting

· Drive financial integration and process alignment of acquired businesses

· Manage the external audit relationship and audit process, including statutory accounts and tax computations

· Ability to handle ad hoc requests inside and outside the team

Essential Criteria:

· ACA qualified accountant or equivalent

· Strong technical background in finance, accounting and audit coupled with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Strong computing skills including the confident usage of Excel, Word and PowerPoint

· Accuracy and attention to detail

· Providing insight to all colleagues, helping motivate them to deliver team results to pre-agreed targets.

· Keen willingness to learn, improve, and share your insights with others

· Ability to quickly learn new processes

· Happy to take on new tasks which may be challenging

· Able to understand and manage tasks of differing priority

· Comfortable with juggling different tasks of equal priority

· Can meet deadlines and communicate effectively if it cannot be met
