A leading international bank and asset manager is looking to appoint a Head of Finance to be responsible for the UK finance and regulatory function. Covering all Accounting, Financial, regulatory reporting and Tax. Reporting to the Finance director.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversea and be responsible for the production of corporate accounts on a daily, monthly, quarterly and semi-annual basis.
Production of regulatory reports to liaise with PRA and FCA representatives on this information
Oversea the production of all management information.
Oversea Corporate tax relating to the UK branch
Improve process and controls across the business, the content, format and analysis of financial information, especially in the areas of derivative products.
To deal with the Bank's external corporate accountants in relation to the preparation, finalisation, structure, presentation and audit of the branch accounts.
To keep abreast of current market developments in the area of financial reporting, taxation and administrative issues.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
A qualified accountant ( ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with relevant post qualification experience. Preferably within financial services.
Experience of international banking and interest-related derivative products is essential.
Knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS required
Good working knowledge of Finrep, Bank of England returns and PRA branch returns desirable.
