Our major retail client is looking for a experienced IT Project manager to join and support the business by delivering technology-based solutions to business challenges and opportunities with outstanding project delivery.


For this role you will be expected too:

  • Creating and maintaining all project documentation and project plans & project delivery
  • Identifying and managing project scope, objectives, & critical success factors
  • Tracking and reporting project progress to stakeholders with a focus on budget, scope, resources, and schedule
  • Leading the identification of critical dependencies and risks likely to impact cost, time, and quality, early in the project life cycle
  • Ongoing management and mitigation risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating as appropriate and owning them through to resolution
  • Responsible for administering project budget up to £1m
  • Cross functional task management to support delivery of project activities



Ideally you have knowledge and experience in:


  • Ability to provide vision and direction for the project team to enable delivering of the project
  • Ability to coach and mentor team members where required
  • Excellent communication skills - clear, unambiguous, and well structured, and have confidence in dealing with all areas and levels within our business
  • Ability to take in information quickly and accurately and work independently to propose solutions to problems
  • Effective decision making
  • Take ownership and accountable for delivering projects effectively
  • Confident in adopting various approaches to suit different situations and differing audiences
  • Motivated and driven individual who will generate enthusiasm for this role and the wider project process



Technical skills needed:

  • Full project lifecycle experience
  • Waterfall Methodology experience
