A leading biotechnology research company are looking for a Manufacturing Specialist 1 to join them onsite in San Diego on a 1st shift basis. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years experience in a similar role.

Pay Rate Range: $22-27.75 an hour

Some Key Responsibilities:

Follow established processes and protocols to assist for the synthesis and purification of complicated organic molecules and modified oligonucleotides
Inventory Control of reagents, chemicals and supplies using proper labeling and computerized transactions
Maintain general lab organization and availability of lab supplies
Labeling of tubes and bottles and dispensing of reagents

Technical Skills Must Haves:

0-2 years manufacturing laboratory experience
Demonstrated ability to follow established protocols to assist the production of complex organic molecules
Experience with SOPs, travelers, ECOs, and GMP

Nice to Have:

Experience with lean manufacturing tools and principles a plus
Familiar with ISO 9001, 13485 and FDA QSR manufacturing standards
Working knowledge of MRP and ERP systems

Education:

Bachelor's degree preferred
