Microbiologist - Quality Control and Testing

Location: La Verne, CA

Position Type: 6 month contract

We are seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our clients Quality Control and Testing team as a Microbiologist. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and safety of our pharmaceutical products by conducting final product release testing, raw material release testing, and microbiological testing of various samples. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining our high standards of quality and compliance in accordance with GMPs and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

Perform final product release testing, including tests for endotoxin and sterility, to ensure products meet quality standards.
Conduct raw material release testing, including microbial limits and endotoxin, for incoming materials.
Perform microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, final products, validation-related samples, and critical utility samples.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or equivalent field.
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in microbiological testing and quality control.
Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
Strong understanding of GMPs, Pharmaceutical standards, and regulatory requirements
