This could be a perfect opportunity for a Compliance Associate who is on the cusp of taking the next major stride in their career.


The Company:
My client are a Payments group headquartered in London who have recently received a nine figure (yes, that's eight zeros'!) investment and are expanding both their geographical coverage, their FCA permissions and service lines (to become an end to end solution provider throughout the payments lifecycle).


The Opportunity
Importantly, due to this planned growth they are looking to hire a Compliance Associate to help strengthen their 2nd Line of Defence. This role has direct fast-track promotion prospects to Compliance Manager when both you & your remit grow.


Key details:
Salary: £30,000 - £37,500
Location: London
Remote working: Yes, a 50/50 split of in the office & at home. This could be relaxed in future.
Start date: ASAP, but we are happy to wait for the right person, whatever your notice
Culture: Friendly, lots of helpful people and a good aray of training workshops available to develop you.


What you will need to apply:

  • Some solid Compliance experience already behind you. The type of work you should already have done could be things like:
    • Working on or helping to execute a Compliance Monitoring Plan
    • Policy & Process updates/enhancements
    • Regulatory Compliance / Horizon scanning
    • Review of escalated PEP/AML cases from the 1LOD,
    • Card Schemes Compliance
    • Compliance training
  • A general understanding of what payments is, how it works, the different types of payments.
  • A genuine, demonstrable passion for working in the payments sector.
  • Knowledge of the key regulators & regulations that a payments firm may be subject to.
