My client is an investment manager who are at an exciting stage of growth. They are looking to grow the legal team and hire a PE funds lawyer to join the team. This firm cover a variety of strategies, designed to survive market cyclical changes.
The successful candidate will be working closely with the Head of Legal and the business on fund raising activities and fund structuring. You will be leading on investor negotiations and fund closings as well as advising on existing fund mandates and governance matters. This role offers a high level of responsibility and you will also be supported by the compliance team.
- Qualified lawyer with 2-6* years PQE gained at a top tier firm in the funds space with a focus on private equity funds.
- You must have experience in leading and negotiating with institutional LPs.
- Ideally, in-house experience gained through a secondment or permanent role at an asset manager.
