Retail Business Analyst

Our British Retailer is undergoing a huge business transformation implementing a new ERP. We are seeking a Business Analyst who would love the opportunity to be part of our team as we go on this journey of transformation.

The Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships across business functions, influence the Technology strategy and plan to achieve delivery of a successful 3-year business plan;
  • Act as a key role model to inspire and strong organizational culture that aligns with our business purpose and values;
  • Confidently provide advice and guidance up to senior management level, sharing expertise and information to support decision making;
  • Successfully deliver against agreed commercial objectives, operational KPI's and deliver against SLA's for your area of responsibility;
  • Take ownership and accountability of issues, and managing these through to resolution;
  • You'll own the as-is business process catalogue and will be accountable to launching new business processes going forwards;
  • Co-ownership of the business capability map;
  • Actively keep up to date with industry trends and upcoming developments to provide expert recommendations to the business functions in order to achieve business objectives;
  • Undertake analysis and interpretation of complex end to end business requirements and the feasibility of solutions involving multiple components and interfaces;
  • Create appropriate documentation using industry standard tools and techniques;
  • Facilitate the prioritisation of requirements through the definition of discreet benefits cases per requirement and subsequent ranking/agreement from key stakeholders;
  • Assist in the production of business and solution design specifications for agreed business requirements;
  • Participate in the full project lifecycle including requirements, design and testing;
  • Take a leading role in defining and implementing new processes within the target ERP platform;
  • Responsibility for team management/leadership where applicable including their development.
