Scrum Master - Digital Banking, London or Manchester - Up to £95,000 + Benefits




Industry leading Global Bank seeks Scrum Master to have the responsibility for a variety of exciting and extremely technical projects.




You will join the Digital Transformation work directly with the UK digital team to help organise and speed up the delivery of work based on Scrum and SAFe agile principe and ensuring alignment with Group release trains.




Key Deliverables;




· Develop a good understanding of the digital products and services in support of the teams and Product Owner.

· Develop a high level technical understanding of the Bank's digital architecture.

· Provide training/coaching/mentoring on Agile methods to upskill individuals and teams.

· Run the Agile ceremonies; Daily Stand Ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews and Retrospectives, also making sure that the right processes are followed.

· Support Story Writing, remove team impediments, Improve team velocity, lead/cycle time, quality and processes where possible.

· Prepare and manage Product Backlogs including prioritisation to deliver business value early.

· Apply tools, patterns & techniques e.g. ATDD, TDD, BDD, WSJF etc., continuous integration and continuous testing.

· Work with JIRA and Confluence to build Boards for tracking and KPI monitoring, also encouraging teams to do the same and in a consistent way.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

To qualify for this truly unique opportunity applicants must possess:

· Experience delivering in SAFE (Qualification is preferred)

· Sound knowledge of Agile development (BDD/TDD, Automated Builds, Continuous Integration, Code Quality Metrics, Agile Test Frameworks).

· Proven technical and team leadership.

· Delivery focussed.

· First class collaboration and communication skills.

· Lean/Agile/ Traditional Waterfall Project Management experience.

· Knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment and transparency.

· Keen interest in emerging technology.

· Background as a Software Developer would be beneficial.
