Our client is currently looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join them on a permanent basis in Sydney. They are a well-known, Australian fintech with excellent growth prospects. They have a fantastic, engineering led culture and you will be working among some of the brightest technical minds in the business!

Skills & Experience:

  • A few years commercial experience in modern software development languages (NodeJS, Javascript/TypeScript)
  • Experience designing, securing and scaling API's within cloud environments is highly desirable, ideally AWS
  • Good understanding of event driven design
  • Experience in containerisation (Docker)
  • RESTful Services experience
  • Comfortable developing in CI/CD, TDD environment
  • A strong grasp on best practices and the ability to guide and mentor other members on the team
  • A passion for building automated, fault tolerant and reliable applications
  • Collaborative, comfortable with co-creation, flexible, team player
