Senior Backend Engineer - Java - Permanent - Edinburgh (remote can be considered)

Our fantastic client is growing and looking to bring a Senior Backend Engineer (Java) onto their team. This is a great opportunity to join a successful and growing company that work across varying and interesting projects using the latest technologies.

Experience:

· Strong knowledge of API development using Java including ORM usage

· Experienced and enthusiastic about using engineering best practices, clean code and unit testing.

· A confident communicator who can drive forward standards and comfortable with leadership.

· Experience designing and implementing the bigger picture.

· Experience working as part of a cross-functional development team.



Desirable:

· Experience of using Azure or AWS products.
