I am seeking a number of experienced Java developers for a project with my client, a well known retail organisation. They are looking for solid engineers to join them for an initial 6 month contract. This will be a JAVA 11 role, and does require commercial Java 11 experience.

Please note this role is INSIDE IR35

Programming Language: Java 8/Java 11(must have) , GoLang (nice to have)

Additonal Skills

  • Cloud Solutions - working on Azure or AWS
  • Containers Management -using tools like Docker, Rocket and Drawbridge
  • Continuous Integration/ Continuous Deployment - using tools like Maven and Jenkins
  • IDL Definition - using tools like RAML or Swagger
  • Code Development - using IDE's like Eclipse or IntelliJ
  • Web API's - for Information Exchange
  • Collaboration - using tools like Git-Hub and JIRA

Development Practice:

  • Understands BDD/TDD/Performance/Security/Smoke testing
  • Understands CI and CD, writes tests to ensure CI/CD processes work
  • Working knowledge of CI tooling
  • Github knowledge

This is a remote role initially with office time in London in the future, but there will always be a remote aspect to the role (2-3 days/week)
