Our leading biopharmaceutical client currently needs to appoint an Associate Director level to integrate the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. This S&OP team member will work in close collaboration with the Integrated Planning teams (Demand and Supply) in supporting the framework of the S&OP process and the successful global rollout and implementation.
Responsibility of the Associate Director of Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) is to support and manage the S&OP process steps across a business unit and/or a geographic area. They are also responsible for preparing the S&OP Schedule, maintaining it in Kinaxis Rapid Response, and collect data for the DRM, SRM and Regional S&OP forums.
·Prepare a rolling 12 months S&OP Schedule in partnership with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Finance and Manufacturing.
·Maintain S&OP Cycle instances in Rapid Response based on the S&OP Schedule. Govern the task completion, facilitate check points within the cycle, own the change control process and report out in a weekly basis task completion, pending and delayed.
·Maintain clear visibility of topics being discussed in each of the S&OP forums, escalations from one forum to another, and linkages with meetings/forum external to the S&OP.
·Document Process and work with the S&OP process owner on continuous improvement, challenges with the process and options to improve the process.
Knowledge & Experience:
·Relevant experience in related field and a BS or BA qualification - additional post-graduate degree such as an MA/MSc or MBA preferred.
· A certification in supply chain from APICS, preferred.
· A certification in project management from PMI, a plus
· An understanding of sales, manufacturing, demand planning and supply planning.
· Understanding of supply chain flexibility, how it can be increased or decreased, and the associated costs.
