My client has a need for multiple Tech Leads and Senior Developers. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a well known company, working on exciting technologies suc as Kubernetes.

They are looking for:

1. Strong tech skills - ability to both design the solution e2e and get hands on with fullstack skills:

  • Backend node.js is essential. TDD
  • css framework/design systems
  • version control / continuous delivery / monitoring dev sec ops
  • AWS or GCP.
  • Kubernetes is essential
  • ability to document solution design clearly with a focus on quality, reliability, stability



    2. Agile methodologies
  • understands and has significant working experience of agile team structures and scrum methodologies to produce quality outcomes
  • can work with Product Owners, architects, scrum masters and lead an agile team with the usual cross-set of skills (ba, designers, UX, engineers, qa etc.)
  • understands best dev and qa practices and can roll out within the team



    3. Strong team leadership
  • able to manage and guide the full team (need evidence of team leadership skills in the CV)
  • demonstrates accountability for delivery
  • can operate under a "you build it, you run it" approach



    4. Right personality to fit into the team
  • able to talk to both business and technical stakeholders (translate across the two)
  • able to motivate a team to achieve their best outcomes
  • able to manage business expectations around delivery and can balance tactical against strategic solutions in order to deliver business value but also move the team towards the end state architecture
  • is an inherent problem solver; finds ways to solve challenging problems better and continuously improve the teams' way of working
