Test Analyst - Chatbot Automation

Our client is an established financial services organisation based primarily out of Sydney but operating nationwide.

Role:

The Chatbot Automation Test Analyst will be part of a wider QA team, providing a range of testing services to ensure successful release and deployment of software to the wider business. More specifically, this role will be focusing on a greenfield Chatbot Automation project, working alongside a multi-disciplinary project team.


Responsibilities:

  • Scripting test-cases for unit-testing the AI BOT
  • Hands automation on web applications
  • Owning and executing the end-to-end QA process for the conversational experience
  • Executing test scenarios; ensure the testing execution process is in alignment to the quality conditions
  • Contributing to the development of the test automation suites
  • Providing regular test status reports to the delivery team where required
  • Raising defects and issues including logging, tracking, retesting, and updating of all defects/issues in a timely manner
  • Preparing Test Status Reports, with industry standard Quality Matrices.
  • Formulating a knowledge base for training and cross-skilling purposes

Your experience

  • Proven 3+ years of experience as an Automation tester
  • Must have prior BOT development or testing experience
  • Expertise across test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress.io, Webdriver.io, Protractor, Appium, Puppeteer, or similar along with exposure to JavaScript, Java, C#, Python
  • Testing methodology - development of testing strategies, plans and cases,
  • Knowledge of testing principles, methods, tools and technologies, including plans, scenarios, strategies and related procedures
  • Experience designing and developing test plans and test cases with minimal requirements and design documents
  • Ability to work autonomously and act as the point of contact on projects where required
  • Proven experience in using industry standard testing techniques, including the use of decision tables and state transition diagrams
  • Experience in an Agile software development and testing environment
