The firm has a unique, high performance and collaborative culture and offers unparalleled long term career advancement opportunities.  Due to an internal promotion, the firm is now seeking a high-calibre finance professional to join the Group Technology & Operations Business Partnering team in Sydney’s CBD.
The role:
Reporting to the Senior Manager and working closely with the General Manager and Cost Centre Managers, you will provide business partnering and financial management services to group-wide Technology Services. Specifically, you will:

  • Provide decision support, including financial information, insights and advice, in relation to a group-wide digital platform
  • Provide guidance and advice on financial performance and delivery to financial plans and forecasts, including financial impacts of change initiatives
  • Develop and deliver meaningful insights to drive improved business performance, including identification of cost optimisation opportunities and the provision of objective and underlying trend analysis
  • Actively drive continuous process improvement and productivity driven initiatives across the Technology Finance team
About you:
CA/CPA qualified, you will be ambitious and driven to succeed in a genuinely high performing environment. You will have a high degree of commercial acumen and be able to effectively liaise with, and influence, senior stakeholders across Finance and Technology.
You will have relevant experience (including budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting and analysis), gained in a large and complex environment and strong MS Excel skills are a must. Banking/technology industry experience and/or previous experience partnering with IT is preferred, although not essential. Naturally those with a general interest in technology or general knowledge of technology developments impacting Financial Services will be highly regarded.
