With a total of 27 teams playing for the title of London Bowling Champions last week, there was always going to be a range of skills and styles on show. And we weren't disappointed.

There were some signs of ‘stroking’ and ‘spinning’ but these were outnumbered by plenty of gutter balls and even some half volleys. In the end, ‘Living on a Spare’, a team of Oil & Gas consultants, came out top by just two points.

The Bloomsbury Lanes were fantastic hosts and kept the competitive spirit rolling with plenty of pool, table football and ping pong battles [and alcohol?!].

There were even some vocal battles with MC’ing and karaoke belted out later in the evening (with equally exuberant skills).
