In 2011, we were working with a major German pharmaceutical company on a Clinical Operations project when they expressed difficulty in finding Medical Doctors for global and country Medical Affairs. We successfully identified people for their Cardiovascular and Oncology businesses, and as other clients were facing similar challenges, we began Medical partnering throughout the Life Science industry, taking their opportunities out to the wider market.
Since then, some companies have hired Talent Acquisition teams, though this requires significant in-house manpower and many businesses in the Life Sciences sector do not have the resource and capability to identify the best talent, which means it can take a very long time to hire successfully. Working with our clients to understand their business and their product pipelines enables us to sell their employer value proposition better and attract the best candidates quickly from a typically inactive market.
