SAP Retail Functional Consultant – Master Data

Project: End-to-end SAP Retail Master Data integration – Design & Implementation
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP Retail Functional Consultant to lead functional activities for the inbound end-to-end integration of Master Data into SAP. You will play a key role in requirements gathering, functional design, dependency management, and ensuring the successful integration of article master data into SAP Retail systems.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements & Planning

Gather and define high-level requirements for end-to-end SAP Master Data integration

Plan delivery timelines aligned with system test cycles

Manage scope, delivery dates, and dependencies using JIRA
Design & Documentation

Produce and maintain HLDs, FMDs, and FDDs for article master data integration

Support design reviews and approvals
Integration & Testing
-
Lead inbound integration of Master Data into SAP Retail

Provide strong expertise in SAP MDG and SAP Retail Master Data integration
-
Validate data flows during SIT and UAT
-
Support SIT and UAT phases, including defect resolution
Dependency & Stakeholder Management

Coordinate with legacy system teams and architecture streams (MDG, BTP)

Work closely with Solution Architects and technical leads

Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and dependencies
Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience with SAP Retail Master Data lifecycle processes

Proven experience in SAP MDG and inbound Master Data integrations

Solid background in interface design, functional documentation, and integration testing

Experience supporting SIT and UAT phases

Familiarity with JIRA and dependency tracking

Strong stakeholder management and cross-team collaboration skills
