Are you ready to shape the future of computing and AI hardware? We’re seeking a highly skilled and visionary Strategic R&D Program Lead to drive innovation across internal and external R&D initiatives in the fast-evolving field of AI chipsets and computing systems.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Evaluate cutting-edge technologies and their commercial potential through literature reviews, trend analysis, and simulations.

  • Deliver high-impact technology reports to guide strategic decision-making at the executive level.

  • Conduct early-stage feasibility studies to shape the technical roadmap.

  • Define and lead innovation programs across business units, aligned with long-term objectives.

  • Manage global partnerships with researchers, suppliers, and ecosystem collaborators.

  • Influence product development strategies across cross-functional engineering teams.

  • Support prototyping and early-stage assessments of new technologies.

  • Facilitate internal seminars and workshops to foster knowledge exchange.

Experience needed:

  • A PhD with 5+ years of experience in academia or industry in a relevant field.

  • Deep expertise in at least one of the following:

    • CPU/GPU architectures or AI accelerators

    • AI/ML hardware implementations (e.g. ASICs)

    • Interconnect and networking for computing systems

    • Low-power design (device to system level)

    • Advanced semiconductor technologies (e.g. 3DIC, optoelectronics, thermal solutions)

Key skills and attributes:

  • Strong analytical thinking with a balance of strategic and technical focus.

  • A self-starter who stays ahead of technology trends.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Proven project leadership and cross-functional collaboration experience.

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel for impactful reporting and presentations.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally across Europe and internationally.
