Supply Chain Analyst – Data & Reporting

Venus, TX

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. | Fully Onsite

Duration: 12-months+

Pay: Up to $55/hr (W2)




Our client is a well-established utility building out its supply chain reporting and analytics capability. They are seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to automate recurring reports, develop dashboards and KPIs, and turn materials, inventory and supply chain data into actionable insights for leadership. This role will work closely with planning, inventory and warehouse teams during a major warehouse management system transition.




Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Automate recurring reports and manual reporting processes to improve efficiency and turnaround time.
  • Build and maintain dashboards using Cognos, Power BI, Tableau or comparable reporting platforms.
  • Develop, define and track KPIs for inventory, materials and supply chain performance.
  • Extract, clean, validate and analyze data from Maximo, warehouse management systems and other sources.
  • Translate data into clear findings, trends and practical recommendations for supply chain leaders.
  • Support reporting accuracy and consistency throughout the transition from Velocity to Manhattan.
  • Document data sources, report logic, processes and refresh schedules to maintain reliable reporting.
  • Partner with planning, inventory and warehouse stakeholders to understand reporting needs and prioritize solutions.

Education and Experience

  • Experience in data analytics, reporting, business intelligence or a related analytical function.
  • Supply chain, materials, inventory or utility experience preferred.
  • Hands-on experience developing dashboards and reports in Cognos, Power BI, Tableau or similar platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience automating manual reports or reporting processes.
  • Experience defining and tracking KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Experience working with large datasets and using Excel for analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with Aera AI or Manhattan is a major advantage.
  • SQL experience is a plus.
  • Maximo or comparable ERP experience is beneficial.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends, discrepancies and opportunities within data.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets.
  • Understanding of data quality, validation and reporting accuracy.
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly and work effectively through technology and process changes.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive approach to identifying opportunities to automate, improve and streamline reporting processes.
