End-to-end talent acquisition for a global CRO


The challenge:

After winning a large FSP this global CRO needed to hire 35 contractors. They couldn’t reallocate personnel internally because other projects continued to be busy. Instead, they needed candidates with specific experience who could add value to this project and who could be on-site, ready to work within four weeks. Monthly budget was very tight due to the end client’s needs and the hiring team was extremely busy and had limited time for interviews.

Our solution:

Our team took the time to understand the CRO’s unique brand and business strategy, segment and target workforce required. This enabled us to market and enhance their brand position through connecting with our existing networks.

We established full-time onsite support, to work with and develop their leaders to sell and attract new talent, providing in-depth MI throughout the process to ensure commitments were being met.

Hydrogen delivered a talent management solution that resulted in 35 contractor hires across 15 states Filled positions included multiple SAS Programmers and two Project Managers. We pre-agreed a monthly cost for each contractor, working 40 hours a week. Within 10 days of starting this project, we had people working. We had all 35 contractors working in under four weeks.

The outcome:

  • Company has won multiple new bids off the back of such fast hiring and retention rates
  • Contract utilization rate increased to 91%
  • Hiring team now have more time for their day to day work and only get involved in the process when needed
  • Having successfully completed the project our client extended 90% of the temporary workforce.
