Schedule: Hybrid - Onsite Mondays/Tuesdays

Duration: 18-month Contract

Pay Rate:$19-21.50/hr (W2)



Our client is a major utility company serving Southern California. They are seeking an experienced Administrative Aide to support their Credit and Payment Services Organization in a hybrid role that requires strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate across multiple departments.



Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Provide support desk assistance across various areas including active, inactive, risk, and AMP desks
  • Assist credit administrators with surety bonds, CDs, and Letters of Credit
  • Manage bonds, oversee credit checks, and maintain the bills box
  • Address payment reconciliation issues, including duplicate payment resolution
  • Oversee requests through Credit Notify Inbox and emails from the CAPS organization
  • Collaborate with the Revenue Protection team on dedicated project work
  • Handle mailroom responsibilities and duties as assigned
  • Answer routine inquiries and prepare standard correspondence
  • Operate electronic mail and spreadsheet programs
  • Maintain personal information systems databases
  • Perform semi-automated administrative support tasks including meeting coordination
  • Order supplies and set up offices/computer equipment for new hires
  • Provide support to all departments in Credit and Payment Services as needed

Education and Experience

  • High School degree and 1-2 years of office experience, OR
  • Equivalent relevant experience
  • Typically possesses one to two years experience performing administrative, secretarial, and clerical functions

Knowledge and Skills

  • Broad knowledge of department policies, practices, and procedures
  • General knowledge of personal computer software, on-line applications, office equipment, and filing systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and related software
  • Ability to coordinate the schedule of multiple departments
  • Typing speed of 50 wpm or higher
  • Ability to work under general supervision
