A pivotal data integrity initiative is underway to ensure the accuracy and consistency of land lease and landowner payment data. This effort is vital to improving data quality and reliability, supporting systems, reporting, and strategic decision-making processes. We are seeking a Data Analyst to contribute meaningfully to this important project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough data integrity assessments across multiple datasets and systems.
- Perform data cleaning tasks to resolve inconsistencies, errors, and duplicates.
- Collaborate directly with colleagues to address data issues as needed.
- Develop and implement data quality standards, rules, and procedures.
- Coordinate with data owners, IT teams, and other stakeholders to align on governance best practices.
- Document data quality issues and corresponding remediation steps.
- Deliver regular updates and data quality metrics to project leadership.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, data management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Familiarity with data integrity assessment and data cleaning practices.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience navigating conflict or challenging situations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain data issues to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- A passion for data quality and integrity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of land or real estate contract data.
- Experience auditing or cleansing billing or payment datasets.
- Background in the energy sector or experience working with energy-related data.
