Overview
This position supports sales operations by conducting basic to moderately complex operational and data analyses that enable strategic decision-making. The role is part of a growing sales team in the deregulated energy market, focusing on both direct and indirect sales support. The analyst contributes to key business initiatives through data analysis, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and support commercial sales processes, including responding to custom pricing requests and managing sales agreements.
- Set up prospects and accounts, gather usage data, and coordinate proposal development and pricing updates.
- Act as a liaison between internal sales teams, partners, and customers to ensure accurate and timely execution of deliverables.
- Participate in the design and refinement of sales and operational processes for ongoing improvement.
- Collaborate across departments to understand the full sales lifecycle and ensure alignment with internal workflows.
- Provide regular updates and insights to leadership on project status and deliverables.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Desired Background
- 1–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in sales support, energy, or related fields.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience in financial or data analysis is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and contribute to cross-functional initiatives.
