RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct outbound sales calls to a targeted list of healthcare professionals (HCPs) across the U.S., as provided by the Commercial Team, and position yourself as the primary brand representative.
  • Maintain consistent communication with HCPs and their staff to ensure they remain informed about product updates and available Patient Support Programs.
  • Send timely follow-up emails and/or faxes after each telephonic interaction with HCPs/prescribers.
  • Meet or exceed defined sales targets.
  • Accurately log contacts, sales calls, and relevant interactions in Veeva (CRM system).
  • Manage and coordinate orders for Patient Support Materials for products as needed.
  • Promote products in alignment with FDA-approved labeling, address product-related questions, and direct medical inquiries appropriately.
  • Host virtual Lunch-and-Learn (LNL) sessions for key HCP targets.
  • Attend local and national tradeshows as needed.
  • Manage and report business expenses using Concur.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

  • Required experience in inside sales, telesales, contact centers, customer service, or the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry.
  • Prior pharmaceutical sales experience is preferred, ideally within the gastroenterology space, or 3–5 years of B2B sales experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university is required.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed (3-4 conferences/meetings per year).
  • Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, and accountable for performance.
  • Must complete self-guided study, training, and certification testing; advancement is dependent on passing all required exams.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze market conditions, leverage territory data and team insights, and identify business opportunities to drive sales.
  • Ability to rapidly acquire and apply disease state knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills across various platforms (phone, fax, email, virtual tools).
  • Proven ability to build and maintain long-term relationships and provide value to customers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced in CRM platforms like Veeva.
  • Fast learner capable of handling high call volumes.
  • Strong work ethic with a results-driven mindset and high professional standards.
  • Able to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to varying HCP office protocols.
  • Comfortable working remotely and managing responsibilities with minimal supervision.
