IT Project Manager IV (Hybrid)

Rosemead, CA (Open to remote or hybrid - Tues/Wed onsite)
Duration: 6-month contract
Pay Range:$80-87
Position Overview
This role supports large-scale utility and infrastructure programs by managing project schedules, coordinating field activities, tracking progress, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities may include preventing power surges, monitoring energy distribution, and supporting the operation and maintenance of power-generating equipment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities / Workload
Project Planning & Scheduling
- Develop annual, monthly, and weekly schedules for inspections and project milestones.
- Coordinate field investigations and operational activities.
- Manage timelines using tools such as SAP, MS Access, and Excel.
Tracking & Reporting
- Monitor project progress, costs, resources, and performance metrics.
- Maintain logs, databases, and reports for management and regulatory needs.
- Support program KPI tracking and trend reporting.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Serve as a liaison between internal teams, contractors, and external partners.
- Participate in weekly and ad-hoc project status meetings.
- Support communication of project updates, risks, and timelines.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to company safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support initiatives that improve the safety, reliability, and efficiency of electrical systems.
- Maintain documentation for audits and compliance reviews.
Analysis & Problem-Solving
- Perform cost/benefit evaluations, variance analysis, and operational trend analysis.
- Identify project issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Support continuous improvement efforts to streamline processes.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of IT, project management, or operations management experience (senior roles).
- 2–3 years of analytical, coordination, or project support experience (entry/intermediate roles).
- Ability to interpret reports, charts, gauges, and equipment data related to power distribution and operations.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- (OR equivalent combination of education, training, and experience).
- Associate degree acceptable with relevant industry experience.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and SAP(data analysis, reporting, scheduling).
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schedules, and operational data.
Soft Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Excellent stakeholder and cross-functional coordination abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines.

Desired Skills / Certifications
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credential (highly desirable).
