Pay Rate:$16.25 – $20.00/hour



A contract opportunity is available for a detail-oriented individual to support daily operations within Research & Development (R&D) laboratories as part of a global lab management team. This position involves maintaining lab readiness, preparing materials, enforcing safety protocols, and facilitating smooth laboratory function.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare routine laboratory buffers and solutions; manage inventory and restock supplies.
  • Conduct daily laboratory walk-throughs and safety checks.
  • Manage hazardous waste storage and disposal according to safety protocols.
  • Communicate facility maintenance needs to lab supervisors.
  • Ensure lab safety compliance in accordance with standard codes and practices.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness in labs, gowning areas, hallways, and storage rooms.
  • Support procurement of lab supplies and equipment.
  • Perform clerical support tasks as needed.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Basic laboratory or manufacturing experience (0–2 years preferred).
  • Familiarity with SOPs, ECOs, travelers, and GMP practices.
  • Understanding of cleanroom protocols (ISO 6/7 environment) and ability to gown appropriately.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow established protocols and standard procedures.
  • Basic proficiency in chemistry, mathematics, and analytical techniques.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools and principles is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 0–2 years of related laboratory or manufacturing experience preferred.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Environment: Work is performed primarily in laboratory settings. Exposure to chemicals, airborne particles, and moderate noise is expected. Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
  • Physical: Ability to lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs. Frequent standing, sitting, bending, and use of hands for lab and office equipment.
  • Vision: Normal visual acuity with or without correction. Ability to work under yellow lighting conditions due to photosensitive materials.
  • PPE: Extended use of full cleanroom gowning (bunny suits) in ISO-classified environments.
